If you create or manage events, you agree to:
- Provide accurate event information
- Honor all ticket sales and commitments
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Handle attendee data responsibly and in accordance with privacy laws
- Not create fraudulent or misleading events
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
4.2 Event Attendees
If you purchase tickets or attend events, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when registering
- Comply with event rules and regulations
- Not resell tickets unless permitted by the event organizer
- Not engage in fraudulent ticket purchases
- Respect venue policies and staff
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Upload harmful code, viruses, or malware
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Scrape or harvest user data
- Interfere with platform functionality
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Create fake accounts or manipulate metrics
- Reverse engineer or attempt to access source code
- Use automated systems (bots) without permission
6. Tickets, Payments, and Refunds
6.1 Ticket Purchases
When purchasing tickets:
- All ticket sales are facilitated through our payment processor (Stripe)
- You authorize us to charge your payment method
- Prices are as displayed at the time of purchase
- We may charge service fees in addition to ticket prices
- All sales are final unless otherwise stated
6.2 Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to the event organizer's refund policy. Generally:
- Event organizers set their own refund policies
- Refunds for canceled events are at the organizer's discretion
- Service fees may be non-refundable

6.3 Event Organizer Payouts
For event organizers:
- Payouts are processed according to your payment schedule
- We deduct platform fees before disbursing funds
- You must maintain valid payment information
- Payouts may be delayed for verification or fraud prevention
7. User Content
7.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload. By posting content, you grant us:
- A worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content
- The right to modify content for technical compatibility
- The right to use your content in marketing materials (with attribution)
7.2 Content Responsibilities
You represent and warrant that your content:
- Does not infringe on intellectual property rights
- Does not violate applicable laws
- Does not contain harmful or offensive material
- Is accurate and not misleading
7.3 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
8. Intellectual Property Rights

The Platform and its content are owned by LoomEvent and protected by:

- Security or freedom from viruses
We do not guarantee that events will occur as advertised or that event organizers will fulfill their obligations.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOOMEVENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Event cancellations or changes
- Actions or omissions of event organizers or attendees
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Third-party services or content
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LoomEvent from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of third parties
- Your content or events
- Your negligence or willful misconduct
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute, please contact us first at legal@loomevent.com to attempt informal resolution.
13.2 Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or collective arbitrations.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
